Mantsopa ( English Mantsopa Local Municipality ) is a local municipality in the Thabo Mofutsanyana district , Free State Province in South Africa . The seat of the municipal administration is in Ladybrand . Mamsie Tsoene is the mayor.

Until 2011, the local community Mantsopa belonged to the Motheo district .
