action

The cashiers Colette, Evelyne and Jessica as well as Viviane from the meat counter at the Happy Market supermarket have little to laugh about under the meticulous boss Sandrine Pédrono. Each of them depends on the job - including the Neue Rose, who has just been released from prison. She needs a job to at least theoretically have the chance to get her son Mickaël back, who has been living in a foster family for five years. She tells her new colleagues that she was convicted of receiving stolen goods. When she learns that Mickaël is a big wrestling fan, she decides to become a wrestler for him. She turns to old Richard, who was formerly known as catcher Richard the Lionheart , but now trains boxers. He's not thrilled to work as a catcher trainer, but agrees when Rose finds fellow campaigners. She can convince Colette, Evelyne and Jessica to give catching a try. Since the overweight Evelyne was injured and dropped out during the first training session, the bitter Viviane joins the team.

A trial training match with four of Richard's former colleagues shows the four divas from Happy Market that they still have a long training path ahead of them. The pressure grows when they learn that bar owner Tonio has already planned a match against a group of notorious Mexican women and begins to market it. The four now use every free minute to practice and build a small training area on the roof of the supermarket. The good climate worsens when the women learn that Rose lied about her prison sentence. In reality, she was involved in a brawl in which a man died. Rose is even eventually fired after carelessly destroying Sandrine's car. Rose takes her frustration out on Colette at a training match in front of an audience, who she actually attacks and injures in front of her son. Then it disappears. Tonio now refuses to continue to present the divas from the supermarket in his program. It seems like it was all in vain.

The divas have become known locally through a small fight in a disco that found its way onto the Internet via video. Under pressure from customers, Sandrine is forced to hire Rose again. The training continues and soon all women have found the characters they want to portray on stage. Colette goes as a kind of Wonder Woman, Jessica as a seductive cowgirl, Viviane as the creepy butcher and Rose as Lara Croft. The training also helps some of them through personal crises, so Colette finally realizes that her husband has been cheating on her for a long time and can leave him while the evil-looking Viviane begins to accept her appearance, even if she would much rather appear good.

In the wrestling fight against the Mexicans, Rose is suddenly missing. She wanted to talk to her son, who wanted nothing more to do with her after the training match that had gone wrong, but he would not allow it. Now she questions the whole plan; she throws away her Lara Croft costume. It's Richard who can get her to come back to the competition hall. He gives her the ring suit that his late wife once wore. The divas do well in the ring, but fail to defeat the Mexicans. Nevertheless, they are celebrated by the audience after the end and Rose and Mickaël are getting closer again.
