Doğan Karakuş (born May 19, 1993 in Diyarbakır ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Karakuş was born in Diyarbakır and moved with his family to the western Turkish province of Kocaeli as a child . Here he began in 2006 in the youth of MAP Kavaklıspor with club football. A year later he switched to the youth of Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıtspor and then after a year to the youth of Kocaelispor . After Kocaelispor ran into major financial difficulties and had to let most of its players go, the club filed for bankruptcy. In order to still be able to participate in the game, the professional team was increased with players from the reserve and youth teams. In this context, Karakuş also received a contract in the summer of 2011. In the professional team he established himself straight away and with 16 goals in 30 games became one of the most dangerous teams in his club. Nevertheless, he rose with his club at the end of the season in the TFF 3rd Lig . In this league Karakuş was the top scorer of the TFF 3rd Lig 2012/13 with 22 goals .

In the summer of 2013 he moved to the new third division Altınordu Izmir . With this club he reached the third division championship two days before the end of the season and thus promotion to the TFF 1st Lig.

In the summer transfer period 2014/15, the western Turkish third division team Bandırmaspor Karakuş signed. After playing here for half a season, he was loaned out to league rivals Keçiörengücü for the second half of the 2014/15 season. In the 2015/16 season he was kept in the squad and then helped with his ten league goals that his club ended the season as a play-off winner and rose to the TFF 1st Lig.

After Bandırmaspor missed relegation, he moved to the second division Giresunspor for the 2017/18 season . Within the same transfer period and without a competitive game, he terminated his contract by mutual agreement and instead signed on to the third division Altay Izmir .
