Career

Koçal was born in Rize and started playing club football in the youth of Rize Kalespor. In 2009 he moved to the Ankaraspor youth department . A year later he was given up as a professional player to the fourth division Keçiörengücü , a second club of Ankaraspor.

At Keçiörengücü, Koçal made his breakthrough in his second season. In the 2011/12 season he was one of the league's most successful goal scorers with 22 league goals. In the 2013/14 season he and his team became champions of the TFF 3rd Lig and rose to the TFF 2nd Lig . Koçal himself contributed 26 goals to this success and became the league's top scorer.

In the summer of 2014 he returned to the mother club Ankaraspor, which had renamed itself Osmanlıspor FK in the meantime , but was given back to Keçiörengücü as a loan player after the pre-season preparatory camp. For the next second half of the season he was brought back to Osmanlıspor FK. With this club he ended the season as runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig and rose to the Süper Lig twice in a row.

For the 2015/16 season Koçal was loaned to the second division Altınordu Izmir . After returning from this club after half a season, his club loaned him to Keçiörengücü for the rest of the season.
