Dominik Maringer

Dominik Maringer (* 1978 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Dominik Maringer grew up in Ungenach in Upper Austria . He attended the music high school in Linz and studied violin and piano at the Bruckner Conservatory from 1993 to 1999 . After graduating from high school , he studied acting at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater from 1999 to 2003 .

He then had engagements at the Hamburg Thalia Theater and the Schauspielhaus Hamburg , the Schauspiel Frankfurt , the Stadttheater Bern and the Berlin Sophiensælen . From 2006 to 2009 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Graz , then until 2014 at the Schauspiel Hannover , where he played the title role in Peer Gynt , as Andrej in Drei Schwestern , as a first-person narrator in Fiberland , as Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and when the drum major was seen at the Woyzeck .

He has been a freelance actor since 2014. In March 2017 he was in front of the camera for the filming of the Tatort episode Die Faust , directed by Christopher Schier . In September 2017 he premiered at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden in Professor Bernhardi as Ebenwald. In 2018 he played the role of Friedl Mutschlechner in the documentary film Manaslu - Mountain of Souls , in the series M - Eine Stadt sucht ein Mörder (2019) by David Schalko he played the role of Minister of the Interior.
