The Evangelical Lutheran village church Milbitz is located in Milbitz , a district of the city of Rudolstadt in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia . The parish Milbitz belongs to the parish area Teichel in Kirchenkreis Rudolstadt-Saalfeld the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The stone-sighted hall church was built in 1696 in place of a previous building. The church tower in the west with a square floor plan was only built in 1751. He received a slated , octagonal essay, which is covered with a hood, which is crowned by an open lantern with a tower ball . The nave is provided with a slate roof . In the interior , the flat-roofed ground floor of the tower opens up through a belt arch to the nave , which is spanned with a wooden barrel vault. The organ with eight registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built in 1850 by Friedrich Wilhelm Dornheim.
