The stone-sighted hall church was built in 1696 in place of a previous building. The church tower in the west with a square floor plan was only built in 1751. In the interior , the flat-roofed ground floor of the tower opens up through a belt arch to the nave , which is spanned with a wooden barrel vault. The organ with eight registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built in 1850 by Friedrich Wilhelm Dornheim.
