Trinity Church (Ohlsbach)
The Trinity Church is located in Hauptstrasse 45 of Ohlsbach , a community in the Ortenau district in Baden-Württemberg .
history
The foundation stone for the church was made in 1879, it was completed in 1881. As a Catholic parish church was the name of the "Holy of Holies 1896 Trinity " ordained . The parish church was extensively renovated in the 1970s. Together with the Bruder-Klausen-Haus, which was completed in 1979, the church forms the parish center of the parish. The parish of Ohlsbach is an independent parish .

The hall church is designed in the architectural style of a neo-Romanesque basilica without a transept . The roof tower grows out of the slate-covered gable roof . Its lower floors emerge as a risalit from the gable . The bell tower has a pointed pyramid roof over an aerial floor. Below is the bell chamber . It contains a ring of four church bells that hang in two compartments on two floors in an old wooden belfry that was renovated in 2007 .

All four bells are integrated into the clock . The small bells strike the quarter-hour, the big bell strikes the hour.
The portal is under the tower behind an archway with five arcades . The interior of the nave contains a coffered ceiling , the apse is spanned by a barrel vault that ends with a cap. The semicircle and both sides of the apse originally had mosaics ; they were painted over during the last renovation. The paintings The Good Samaritan by Josef Heinenmann (1825–1901), who created it between 1880 and 1889, and The Crucifixion once hung in the church . They are no longer there.
organ
In 1902 an organ from the organ building workshop Wilhelm Schwarz & Sohn was purchased for the church . After it was no longer playable, it was replaced in 1975 by one by Claudius Winterhalter . The instrument has 25 registers , which are divided into two manuals and pedal , and has the following disposition :
