Dustin Wood

Dustin Wood (born May 21, 1981 in Scarborough , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC České Budějovice in the Czech extra league since June 2011 .

Career

The 1.83 m tall left-back began his career with the Peterborough Petes in the Canadian Ontario Hockey League , for which he played until 2002. The first professional station after the junior league were the Trenton Titans from the East Coast Hockey League , for which the left shooter advanced to the defensive player with the highest points in his debut season. After various positions in the American Hockey League , Wood came to Germany for ERC Ingolstadt for the 2007/08 season .

In the 2008/09 season Wood played for the Kassel Huskies . The following season, the Canadian moved to South Korea to Anyang Halla , with whom he won the championship of the Asia League Ice Hockey in 2010 and 2011 . In June 2011 the defender was signed for a try-out from HC České Budějovice from the Czech Extraliga .
