Earl Antoine Boykins (born June 2, 1976 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is a retired American basketball player who played most of his professional career in the NBA . With a height of 1.65 meters, he was the second smallest player in league history, behind Muggsy Bogues .
NBA career
Boykins was signed as an undrafted player in 1999 by the New Jersey Nets . There he was hardly used and a short time later moved to the Cleveland Cavaliers .
He then played for the teams of Orlando Magic , Los Angeles Clippers , Golden State Warriors , Denver Nuggets , Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Bobcats .
When Boykins didn't get a good offer from an NBA team in 2008, he went to Italy to join the Virtus Bologna for a year . He returned to the NBA a year later and signed for a season with the Washington Wizards .
In March 2012, he was awarded a 10-day contract with the Houston Rockets . The Texas team was Boykins' last stop as a professional basketball player.
