Career
society
Perea's professional career began in 2001 in his home country at Atlético Huila . Right off the bat, the attacker managed to be used regularly. The following year he moved to Deportes Quindío , before he joined Deportivo Pasto in the same season . In 2003 Perea signed with the top Colombian club Atlético Nacional . With these he was able to win the Apertura Championship in 2005. In 2004 it was only enough for the runner-up title in both semi-series championships. In the two ½ seasons the striker developed into a top performer. This put him on the notepads of European clubs. For a transfer fee of € 2.5 million, he finally moved to Girondins Bordeaux in France in the summer of 2005 . Parea then made his Ligue 1 debut on August 20, 2005 in a 1-0 home win against AS Monaco . Coach Ricardo Gomes replaced him in the 84th minute for Jean-Claude Darcheville . In the following years he came to regular stakes. The Girondins fans had to wait until matchday 33 for his first and only league goal in 2005/06 . In the 1: 3 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain , Perea managed to equalize. In the following season, the offensive player was only used irregularly. This should not improve in 2007/08 , which is why he moved to Gremio Porto Alegre in January 2008 . That year he was runner-up with Gremio. After two years he turned his back on Brazil and moved back to Europe. At UD Las Palmas in the Spanish Segunda División , however, he was hardly used. After one season he joined the Mexican first division club CD Cruz Azul in mid-2011 . There he was used more often and switched between bench and starting lineup. In July 2012 he moved to Changchun Yatai in China. While he initially had a regular place there, he soon only came on as a substitute. At the beginning of 2013 he was loaned to Deportivo Cali for half a year . After his return he no longer played a role and moved to Honvéd Budapest in Hungary in October 2013 . At the beginning of 2014, he terminated his contract.
National team
In 2004 he played for the Colombian national team for the first time . By 2008 he was used there 29 times and was able to score nine hits.
