Edlach is a cadastral community of the city of Rottenmann . Until 1974 Edlach formed the municipality of Palten with Bärndorf and Singsdorf . The village is the most southeast of the municipality and is not far from Sankt Lorenzen im Paltental .

Edlach is located in the Rottenmanner Tauern and the Schoberpass road runs through the village .
