Singsdorf is a village and part of the municipality Rottenmann im Paltental in the Rottenmanner Tauern , Liezen district , Styria . At the census on May 15, 2001, the place had 204 inhabitants.
history
The first documentary mention took place in 1080. 1130/35 "Siginsdorf" is attested. The place name comes from the ahd. Personal name Sigwin / Sigiwin . On January 1, 1974, Singsdorf, then part of the municipality of Palten, became part of the municipality of Rottenmann. An old place name was "Singsdorf Schmiede". The Catholic chapel belongs to the parish of St. Lorenzen.

On the northern edge of the town, the Pyhrn Autobahn (A 9) runs roughly in an east-west direction. The next western motorway feeder is in Rottenmann, the next eastern one in Trieben. The Schoberpass Straße (B113) leads through Singsdorf.
Others
In 1999 a sports facility with a two-story club house was built in the village. In addition to a soccer field, an archery range is also integrated into the outdoor facilities. The competition team of the volunteer fire brigade is one of the best in Styria. Cross- country skiing trails are groomed in winter, and the place is a good starting point for hikes in summer.
