Boder is a district of the Rottenmann community . The place is located 2 km east of the old town of Rottenmann north of the Palten river and is part of the KG Stadt Rottenmann. Boder is closely connected with Büschendorf . The village is located on the southeast slope of the Eisenerzer Alps . On January 1, 2017, 572 people lived in Boder.

history

Boder - formerly known also under the name "Boda" - once belonged to the village of Villmannsdorf until it was incorporated into the Rottenmann community in 1943. In the 18th century the city of Rottenmann had its own "City Court with the Blood Spell" until it was dissolved by Emperor Joseph II. The place of execution with the gallows was not in the Rottenmann area, but in Boda.
