Edmund Blume (painter)
Edmund Blume (* July 21, 1844 in Halberstadt ; † August 24, 1914 in Altaussee ) was a German portrait and genre painter , draftsman and graphic artist .
Edmund Blume studied painting at the Berlin Royal Prussian Academy of the Arts under Gustav Richter and from November 13, 1870 at the Munich Academy under Wilhelm von Diez and Arthur von Ramberg .
The artist Edmund Blume worked in Vienna , on Capri , in 1882/1883 in Rome and from 1883 on with permanent residence in Munich . He became popular in the Bavarian metropolis as an illustrator for the Flying Leaves .
