The Ehlenzbach is a 13.4 km long orographically right tributary of the Nims in the Rhineland-Palatinate Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm ( Germany ).

The Ehlenzbach rises in the West Eifel ( Lascheider plateau ) at an altitude of 497  m above sea level. NHN . The source is located on the southwest slope of the Heilgert ( 548.8  m above sea level ) about one kilometer northeast of Plütscheid . The Ehlenzbach flows mainly to the south, about one kilometer north of Rittersdorf at 286  m above sea level. NHN in the Nims coming there from the north .

Catchment area and tributaries

The Ehlenzbach drains a 27.9 km² catchment area via Nims, Prüm, Sauer , Moselle and Rhine to the North Sea .
