The place is located between Gröbming (main town) and Aich (main town) , northeast of Pruggern (main town) , which lies on both sides of the Enns.
The scattered houses are located at the southern foot of the Kemet Mountains , a side massif of the Dachstein , on the left in the valley along the Enns . They are spread over a valley terrace at altitudes of around 720- 770 m above sea level. A. , and extend for about 1½ kilometers along the B320 Ennstalstraße (km 33.8–35.6). The mountain near Einöd is called Kulm .
Einöd comprises almost 30 buildings. The majority, classified as Rotte , belongs to the village of Pruggern, the eastern houses form the southwestern outskirts of Gröbming.
