reception

criticism

“'Einstein' has a multitude of original script ideas to offer, and Jahn's rapid implementation seems even faster thanks to the electronic music by Karim Sebastian Elias. Where else only the SMS messages are displayed, Winterberg's mental eye also sees physical formulas everywhere. "

“Highly intelligent outsiders are trendy. Whether the nerds of 'The Big Bang Theory' or the worldwide phenomenon 'Sherlock' - fan hearts fly to the geniuses in rows. A comparison with the British sniffer Sherlock Holmes is also obvious. After all, he, like Einstein, likes to use drugs to keep up with his current case. Whether Tom Beck can keep up with Benedict Cumberbatch's charisma remains to be seen, but the German production doesn't need to hide thanks to the tension and humor either. "

“Sat.1 also has a promising formula: Form the coefficient for 'Sherlock' and forensic doctor Boerne, divide by the 'Breaking Bad' factor and multiply with successful in-house ideas. The result: fast-paced crime thriller with slapstick interludes, humorous dialogues and a very good-looking leading actor. "
