reception

Hartmann received special recognition for his role of Polonius in Hamlet at the Münster Theater from the theater critic of the Ruhr Nachrichten , who emphasized that the dialogue with the smoothly polished Polonius, the adviser to the old and the new king , would be one of the highlights of the production and Hartmann would shine in this role as a sleazy, self-loving rooster with a poisonous beak . The Westfälische Nachrichten praises him for his skilful play on the fine line between characterization and caricature .
