Eleora Hamming (born August 13, 1999 in Vancouver ) is a Canadian ski jumper .
Career
Eleora Hamming was born in Vancouver but currently lives in Calgary . It starts for the Altius Nordic Ski Club . She made her debut on July 11 and 12, 2015 in Villach in the FIS Cup , where she finished 30th and 18th. Her next competition participation in September 2015 in Midtstuen , Oslo was also her debut in the Continental Cup ; in the first competition she was disqualified, in the second competition she reached tenth place.
In February 2016 Hamming won the gold medal in the women's singles at the Canadian Championships 2016 on the normal hill in Whistler Olympic Park, ahead of Natasha Bodnarchuk and Abigail Strate .
On February 13, 2016, she made her debut in the ski jumping World Cup competition in Ljubno , but with 39th place she missed the second round and thus World Cup points.
In the 2016/17 season , Hamming only started twice in the World Cup, namely on February 15 and 16, 2017 in Pyeongchang , South Korea , where she narrowly missed a top 30 result with two 31st places.
At the 2017 Junior World Championships in Park City , Utah , Hamming achieved 35th place in the individual competition and sixth place in the team competition together with Abigail Strate , Nicole Maurer and Natasha Bodnarchuk .
