The Elmbach is a nine and a half kilometer long right and northeast tributary of the Kinzig in Hesse .

The Elmbach rises northeast of Schlüchtern - Hutten . Its direction of flow is southwest, which it essentially maintains up to the mouth. It flows through the village of Hutten and in Schlüchtern-Elm it flows from the left side of the Eckelsbach and from the right side of the Schwarzbach . At Schlüchtern the Elmbach finally flows into the Kinzig on Eselsweg .
