Emil Kałużniacki
Emil Kałużniacki (born January 11, 1845 in Turze, † July 3, 1914 in Chernivtsi ) was a Slavist .
Life
Emil Kałużniacki studied Slavic Philology and became full professor at the Franz Joseph University in Chernivtsi . In 1889/90 he was rector of the university. In his rectorate speech he spoke about the main developments in Slavic philology from the earliest times to the present . At his suggestion, a collection of coins and antiques was created, which was opened in July 1890.
