Emma Tillinger Koskoff
Emma Tillinger Koskoff (* 1972 ) is an American film producer .
Life
Tillinger is the daughter of actors John Tillinger and Dorothy Lyman . Her younger brother Sebastian Tillinger is also an actor. She grew up in Roxbury , Connecticut . After attending a boarding school in Ojai , California , she decided to enter the entertainment industry directly without going to college.
Through her stepfather Vincent Malle , a younger brother of Louis Malle , she received a job as a production assistant on the set of Male's drama Doom in 1992 . Tillinger then worked for Mary Sames and Diana Rollnick's artist agency in New York City. She looked after the actress Uma Thurman and the director Phil Joanou , among others . Tillinger then worked for the artist agency Artist Management Group for co-founder Rick Yorn . She then supported director Ted Demme in the production of films such as Blow and A Decade Under the Influence until his death in 2002 .
After a one year hiatus, Tillinger moved to Martin Scorsese's production company Sikelia Productions in January 2003 on the recommendation of Rick Yorn . There she was initially an assistant for Scorsese and worked with him on his projects The Blues , Lady by the Sea: The Statue of Liberty and Aviator . In 2006 she was named production manager for Sikelia Productions . She was an associate producer for Scorsese's gangster film Departed . In 2008 she co-produced Scorsese's music documentary Shine a Light and the Oscar- nominated documentary The Betrayal - Nerakhoon . She was also involved in Scorsese's next projects as an executive producer.
For The Wolf of Wall Street , Koskoff was nominated together with Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio and Joey McFarland for an Oscar in the category Best Picture in 2014 .
She has been married to producer Nick Koskoff since 2009 . The couple have two children and live in Battery Park City .
