English Rugby Union Championship 1992/93

The 1992/1993 season of the English Premiership was the sixth season of the major division of the English Rugby Union Championship. For sponsorship reasons it was named Courage League . It comprised twelve game days, with each team playing once against the other. Bath Rugby won the league title for the third time in a row and for the fourth time . With the league downsizing with a view to next season, four teams had to be relegated: London Scottish , Saracens , West Hartlepool RFC and Rugby Lions .

    National Division One

    The season of the second division ( National Division One ) consisted of 12 game days, with each team playing once against the other. The best-placed team Newcastle Gosforth rose to the Premiership. In view of the reduction in the league in the following season, seven teams had to relegate to National Division Two.
