English Rugby Union Championship 2010/11
The 2010/11 season of the English Premiership was the 24th major league season of the English Rugby Union Championship. For sponsorship reasons it was called Aviva Premiership . It began on September 3, 2010, comprised 22 match days (one preliminary and second round) and lasted until May 7, 2011. The four best-placed teams then qualified for the semi-finals, the semi-final winners met on May 28, 2011 in the final in Twickenham Stadium on top of each other. The champions were the Saracens for the first time , beating the defending champions Leicester Tigers in the final . Leeds Carnegie had to relegate .

The season of the second division, the RFU Championship , comprised 22 game days (one first and one second round). The best eight teams met in two groups and played in play-offs for a place in the first division. The four remaining teams played among themselves a relegated third division.
