Enrique Orizaola Velázquez (born March 26, 1922 in Santander ; † June 10, 2013 ibid) was a Spanish football player and coach.
Career
During his time as a football player, he was under contract with Racing Santander from 1941 to 1948 .
From 1956 he was coach of the Spanish second division Racing Santander until 1958. In the following two seasons he coached the second division Real Jaén and Real Murcia .
At the beginning of the 1960/61 season he was assistant coach of Ljubiša Broćić at FC Barcelona and replaced him on January 12, 1961 as head coach. With Orizaola Barcelona reached the final of the European Cup in 1960/61 , in which they had to admit defeat Benfica Lisbon 2: 3. After that season , in which he won five of 14 league games, he was replaced by Luis Miró .

In the 1962/63 season Orizaola was coach of CA Osasuna , with whom he had to relegate to the Segunda División that season . A season later he coached the first division Real Oviedo and was there again on the "best way" to lead Oviedo into the second division. So it was not unexpected that he was replaced by Eduardo Toba after a 3-0 defeat on the 17th matchday of the season . In the following season he was the coach of the Spanish first division club UD Levante . Once again Orizaola failed to help the club to stay up, so Levante had to relegate at the end of the season. For the 1965/66 season he was coach of the second division team Deportivo La Coruña , with whom he made promotion to the Primera División that season . Back in the top division as a coach, Orizaola was already losing luck: in the 1966/67 season he won just four of 19 league games and found himself with his team at the bottom of the table at the time of his replacement.
He then coached mainly Spanish second division teams, including: two times Real Valladolid , UD Salamanca , Rayo Vallecano , CE Sabadell , again Deportivo La Coruña , Deportivo Xerez , Albacete Balompié , Calvo Sotelo and CD Badajoz .
