Ergun Ortakçı , also Ergun Ortakcı (born January 1, 1959 in Balıkesir ), is a former Turkish football player and today's coach.
Player career
Ortakçı started his career at Sultantepespor and moved to Galatasaray Istanbul in 1978 . In the yellow and red he came to three league games. From 1979 to 1981 Ortakçı played for Düzcespor . Ortakçı moved to the first division Altay Izmir and played there for five years. During this time he was relegated to the 2nd division with Altay and was able to celebrate the promotion after one season. After his time at Altay Izmir, Ortakçı became a player for Bakırköyspor and Üsküdar Anadolu SK . At the end of his career in 1991 Ortakçı was third division champion.
Coaching career
His first coaching activities were as assistant coach for Küçükçekmecespor , Kasımpaşa Istanbul and Eyüpspor . In January 1996 Ortakçı took over the post of head coach at Eyüpspor and looked after the team until June 1996. This was followed by numerous engagements as head coach of Kasımpaşa, Balıkesirspor and Kocaelispor .
Ortakçı has been the coach of Çengelköyspor since November 16, 2018 .
