Erika Eschebach

Erika Eschebach (* 1954 in Göttingen ) is a German historian and has been the director of the Dresden City Museum since March 1, 2010 .

Life

Erika Eschebach is the daughter of the architect , town planner and building researcher Hans Eschebach . After studying history, German and classical archeology at the University of Göttingen , she worked at the Braunschweig Municipal Museum from 1992 to 2010 ; from 2008 to 2010 as its acting head. On March 1, 2010, Eschebach took over the post of director of the City Museum in Dresden .
