Ernst Albrecht Braun (* 1857 in London , † 1916 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian politician, finance minister and interior minister of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Ernst Albrecht Braun studied law and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. He started an administrative career in the Grand Duchy of Hesse and was Ministerialrat in the Hessian Ministry of the Interior since 1898. In 1906 he was appointed head of the Hessian Ministry of the Interior . He remained Minister of the Interior until 1910 (from 1906 to 1907 with the title of President of the Interior Ministry and then Minister of the Interior). From 1910 to 1916 he served as Minister of Finance in Hesse.
