Konrad Henrich
Konrad (Wilhelm) Henrich (born May 19, 1864 in Langgöns ; † October 30, 1928 in Darmstadt ) was a liberal Hessian politician ( Progressive People's Party , DDP ), member of the state parliament and Hessian finance minister .
Life
Konrad Henrich was born as the son of the farmer Anton Henrich and his wife Christine Henrich. Rompf was born in Lang-Göns in Upper Hesse. After graduating from school, he studied law and passed the first state examination in 1884 and the examination for finance in 1887. He worked in the tax administration in Schotten , at the main tax office in Offenbach am Main and from 1891 in the Hessian Ministry of Finance in Darmstadt. From 1898 to 1917 he was state debt bookkeeper.
Henrich was born in August 1888 with Amalia Friederike. Wagner married. From the marriage u. a. the son Wilhelm Henrich (1889–1955) emerged. Henrich retired in 1928. A few weeks later he died in Darmstadt.

Konrad Henrich was a member of the Progressive People's Party . From 1908 to 1917 he was a member of the city council in Darmstadt. In 1917 he was elected there as a full-time alderman. In 1911 he was elected to the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . After the First World War he was elected for the German Democratic Party in the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the first 3 electoral terms (1919–1927) . On September 14, 1925, he resigned from the state parliament. Georg Büchner moved up for him in the state parliament.
The Republic was proclaimed in the Grand Duchy as part of the November Revolution. On November 14th, the interim government was formed from Carl Ulrich, Heinrich Fulda (SPD), Konrad Henrich (Progressive Party) and Otto von Brentano di Tremezzo ( center ). From February 28, 1919 to February 13, 1928, Konrad Henrich was Minister of Finance in the People's State of Hesse . For the DDP, Konrad Henrich was a member of the Weimar National Assembly from 1919 to 1920 .
