Ernst Lührmann

Ernst Lührmann (* 29. July 1891 in Cologne , † 6. July 1976 in Minden ) was a German politician , district administrator of the district Insterburg and director of the Upper Insurance Office Minden.

Life

Ernst Lührmann was a son of the pharmacist Heinrich Lührmann. After graduating from high school in Cologne , Ernst Lührmann studied law and political science in Freiburg , Berlin and Bonn and passed the first state examination in July 1914 . After a short time as a court clerk at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne he had from March 1915 to December 1918 military service in a dragoon regiment afford. Here he was lieutenant in the reserve .

In May 1919 Lührmann government clerk was in Kassel , placed in July 1921, the state examination and was as Regierungsassessor the United Strehlitz district office assigned.

In February 1923 he was transferred to the Barmen-Elberfeld police headquarters , which he left after six months to take over the management of the Gleiwitz police station . Before Lührmann was appointed head of the district Insterburg on 16 December 1930, he served as Executive Council nor the quaestor Bottrop (June 1925-August 1926) and police department head at the district government Opole . He remained in office as district administrator until 1935. After a temporary retirement he came to the Minden district government in 1936 and subsequently worked in various authorities (including head of the municipal examination office in 1938 and provisional district administrator in the Reichsgau Sudetenland in 1940 ) until he became director of the upper insurance office in Minden in March 1943 . He remained in this office until April 1945.

In the denazification process , he was classified in category IV (fellow traveler) and was later used again in the civil service as a judge at the regional administrative court in Minden. Lührmann retired on March 31, 1956. As a representative of the interests of the compensation fund, he continued to work until the end of 1959.

Lührmann was a member of the state party from 1929 to 1933 , a member of the NSDAP from May 1, 1933 ( membership number 2,857,001) and a member of the SS from July 1, 1933 .

In 1938 he was promoted to lieutenant d. R. and in 1939 he was Rittmeister d. R.

From the end of 1923 he was married to Margarete Gasch.
