Life

Ernst Ludwig Wilhelm von Dacheröden was the son of the Prussian Chamber President Karl Friedrich von Dacheröden and his wife Ernestine Friederike (born von Hopffgarten ) (born October 23, 1736 in Mülverstedt ; † May 1, 1774 in Erfurt ). His sister was Caroline von Dacheröden , who had been married to Wilhelm von Humboldt since 1791 .

After receiving private lessons from the journalist and educator Rudolph Zacharias Becker in Erfurt , Ernst Ludwig Wilhelm von Dacheröden enrolled at the University of Göttingen and later at the University of Leipzig and studied history and law ; In 1787 he made a trip to Paris .

After his return he became Electoral Mainz Chamberlain and Councilor in Erfurt, a seat and a voice in government. His aim was to implement improvements in agriculture and beautification in Erfurt and the surrounding area.

Ernst Ludwig Wilhelm vom Dacheröden married Luise Sophie Charlotte Wagner von Carlsburg († 1820) in 1798 , the marriage remained childless.

Writing

He wrote a pamphlet on the attempt to establish constitutional law, history and statistics of the freyen imperial villages in Germany in the publishing house of the philanthropist Siegfried Leberecht Crusius in Leipzig . On the occasion of his admission to the “Electoral Mayntzische Academie Useful Sciences”, of which his father was president, his investigation of the question appeared in 1786 : who is to be taken for the actual author of the golden bull?
