Esmark is a district of the municipality Mittelangeln in the Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein .

geography

The place is located on the fishing peninsula , 16 km southeast of Flensburg and 16 km west of Kappeln . The state road 22 runs from Sörup via Esmark to Triangel to the federal road 201 .

history

During the regional reform in 1970, the formerly independent municipality Esmark was incorporated into the municipality of Satrup . Through the merger of Satrups with Havetoftloit and Rüde , the place became an independent district of Mittelangeln on March 1, 2013.
