Eunápolis , officially Portuguese Município de Eunápolis , is a Brazilian city ​​in the state of Bahia . In 2010 it had about 100,000 inhabitants. It is located 671 km from the capital Salvador da Bahia .

City prefect (executive) has been José Robério Batista de Oliveira (Robério Oliveira) of the Partido Social Democrático (PSD) since the local elections in 2016 for the 2017 to 2020 term of office .
