European Center for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals
The European Center for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals (ECETOC) is a lobbying organization that was founded in 1978 and is based in Brussels .
The main purpose is to identify and study possible adverse effects on health and the environment through the manufacture and use of chemicals . The organization works together with science and authorities as well as CEFIC , especially in the context of the REACH regulation . This has resulted in published reports and peer-reviewed articles.
