Eveline Kooijman

Eveline Kooijman (* 1980 in Dordrecht ) is a Dutch photographer living in Germany .

Life

Kooijman studied journalism at the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1999 to 2003 and then studied photography from 2006 to 2008 at the Amsterdam School of Photography (Fotovakschool). During her studies she worked as an editor for a short time in 2001 at AD , at the end of 2002 at Trouw , and from 2003 to 2007 at Wandelnet. From 2003 to 2009 she also worked as a freelance writer, editor, picture editor and editor for various Dutch publishers in the field of travel and leisure books.

She has lived in Regensburg and Beratzhausen since 2010 and works in the genre of philosophical photography. In 2017 the studio moved to Straubing.

Among other things, the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen , the city of Straubing , the city of Schwandorf and the art collection of the Upper Palatinate district acquired works from her.

She is a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Lower Bavaria / Upper Palatinate, as well as a member of the New Art Association Regensburg.

In 2014 Eveline Kooijman received the debut funding from the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture, Science and Art and was awarded the culture prize of the Upper Palatinate district in the photography category for her "subtle and sensitive photo series".
