Sven Fricke

Sven Fricke (born December 27, 1979 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

After high school and community service, Fricke began studying to become a teacher. After a few semesters, he applied initially unsuccessfully to a Hamburg drama school in the early 2000s. In rehearsals for a production at the Mecklenburg State Theater Parchim , he finally received a confirmation from the Hamburg University of Music and Theater in 2003 , where he studied until 2007. Here he was taught by Jutta Hoffmann , among others .

In the Hanseatic city he also made his first experiences on stage. During his studies, he played at renowned theaters such as the Thalia Theater , the Hamburger Kammerspiele , Kampnagel and the Malersaal of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus . After his training he gave guest performances at the Theater Bremen , the Nationaltheater Mannheim , again in Hamburg at the Altona Theater and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. In 2011, Fricke was awarded the Rolf Mares Prize for his performance in the role of Frank Lehmann in the play Neue Vahr Süd in the Altona Theater .

He has also been working in front of the camera since the mid-2000s. After guest roles in various series, he has been part of the metropolitan area team as Police Commissioner Daniel Schirmer since 2012 (from episode 327 of the 26th season) .

In February 2012, Fricke became a father for the first time. He lives in Hamburg.
