Evelyn Amy Pinching (born March 18, 1915 in Norwich , † December 24, 1988 in Westminster , London ) was a British ski racer .

As a member of the “Ladies' Ski Club” founded by Arnold Lunn in Mürren , Switzerland , Pinching celebrated his first successes at the Arlberg-Kandahar races . In 1934 she was second in slalom in St. Anton and in 1935 in Mürren also second in slalom and combined. In the same place she finished two fourth and one fifth at the 1935 World Cup .

At the World Championships in Innsbruck in 1936 , she was then two-time world champion in downhill and combined. In the slalom she won the silver medal behind the Austrian runner Gerda Paumgarten .

The trophy of the British Ski Association for the slalom champion is named after her Evie Pinching Salver .
