Evi Romen

Evi Romen (born April 26, 1967 in Bozen , South Tyrol ) is an Austrian film editor who also works as a screenwriter .

Life

Evi Romen studied camera and editing at the Vienna Film Academy . She has been working as an editor since the early 1990s.

In 2011 she was awarded the Diagonale Prize for editing for the feature film Mein bester Feind . At the Austrian Film Prize in 2016 she was awarded in the category Best Editing for Casanova Variations . In 2017 she received the Carl Mayer Script Award for Hochwald .

In 2014 she married the director and author David Schalko .
