The Excellence Coral is powered by two Caterpillar C18 engines. Thanks to the comparatively short length of 82 meters, the width of 9.50 meters and only 1.05 meters draft, the ship can pass locks and navigate areas that are impassable for many cabin passenger ships. These include, for example, the Greifswalder Bodden in the direction of Stralsund and Rügen as well as the locks on the Havel and Moldau .
The upper middle class river ship has 44 cabins. The cabins on the upper deck are equipped with a large panorama window, on the main deck with two smaller windows. All cabins have a shower / toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, mini-bar, satellite TV (flat screen), in-house telephone and radio / alarm clock. The ship can accommodate a total of 87 passengers. A special feature of the ship is the salon with a panorama bar.
