The Excellence Royal is a river cruise ship that sails under the Swiss flag mainly in France on the Seine, the section of the river between Paris and Caudebec-en-Caux . The Excellence Royal is operated by the Basel shipping company Royal Cruises AG and marketed exclusively by the Mittelthurgau travel agency as part of a multi-year charter contract .
The Excellence Royal was christened on March 12, 2010 by the then President of the National Council, Pascale Bruderer in Basel . The chartered river cruise ship has been part of the Excellence fleet ever since. Initially on the Rhine , Main , Danube and Moselle , today mainly on the Seine.
Furnishing
The 72 cabins of the Excellence Royal are between 13 and 16 m² in size. They have a French balcony on the upper and middle deck. All cabins are equipped with shower / toilet, satellite TV (flat screen), minibar, safe, hairdryer, in-house telephone, individually adjustable air conditioning, heating and power connection (220 V). The 17 m² mini-suites also have a DVD player and internet connection. The Excellence Royal has four passenger decks. A whirlpool, table tennis and a golf putting green are available on the sun deck. There is also a small fitness room with a sauna and a massage chair. A lift leads from the middle to the upper deck.
