The FIFA Order of Merit ( FIFA Order of Merit ) is the highest of the FIFA awarded honors . It is awarded annually at the FIFA Congress. The Order of Merit is usually given to people who have made a significant contribution to football .
At the FIFA 2004 centenary, a new award was presented, which is awarded every decade and which fans , associations , clubs etc. can now also receive. It is called the FIFA Centennial Order of Merit (FIFA Centennial Order of Merit).
