Fabian Rahn (born January 15, 1986 in Remchingen ) is a German duathlete and triathlete .

Career

Fabian Rahn studied at the Karlsruhe University of Education . In 2009 he started his first triathlon.

At the German championship on the short distance duathlon, he finished second in May 2011.

In 2014 he finished eleventh in the ETU European Championships in the triathlon middle distance (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running) in Spain. In April 2017, after 2014 and 2015, he finished third for the third time at the Triathlon de Portocolom on Mallorca.

In July 2018, the then 32-year-old finished third after 8:18:23 h with a new personal best on the long distance at the Ironman UK (bike distance shortened: 152.9 instead of 180.2 km).

Fabian Rahn has been married since 2016 and lives with his wife in Kleinhau .
