Feel Special is the eighth EP from the South Korean girl group Twice . The album was released by JYP Entertainment on September 23, 2019.
background
On August 8, 2019, it was announced that Twice would soon be shooting the music video for their new single. JYP Entertainment later confirmed these reports. A specific comeback date was not yet announced at this point. From September 9th, the group published daily teasers of the individual members and further information about the upcoming album.
Feel Special was released on September 23, 2019 together with the single of the same name. On the same day, JYP Entertainment announced that Mina, who had been on hiatus since July 2019 due to an anxiety disorder, would not be part of this comeback either. However, she was involved in the production of the album and the music video.
The album was produced by Park Jin-young , who is also responsible for the lyrics and the composition of the single. Some members of the group also wrote texts for Feel Special . The lyrics to the song 21:29 , which is dedicated to the fans, were written by all nine members.
The album sold 154,028 times that week. The group thus set its own sales record for girl groups that it had set with its predecessor Fancy You .

Overview of publications
The CD for Feel Special was released in three different versions: the A version with a white cover, the B version with a blue cover and the C version with a black cover, each with an 88-page booklet. In addition, each CD contains a sheet of lyrics and a picture of a member of the group (randomly selected 1 out of 9), five photo cards (randomly 5 out of 90) and a gold photo card (randomly 1 out of 9). Pre-orderers also received a set of 10 photo cards and a poster of the group to match the purchased version.
