Page Two is the second mini-album by the South Korean girl group Twice . The album was released on April 25th along with the single Cheer Up . It was produced by JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin-young . The single Cheer Up was written by the South Korean producer duo Black Eyed Pilseung together with Sam Lewis. Both were responsible for the single Like Ooh-Ahh , which can be heard on the previous album The Story Begins .
Page Two entered the Gaon Album Charts at number 2, and the single Cheer Up reached number 1.
At the time, the album had the most sales by a South Korean girl group in the first week of 2016, with 41,800 units sold.

On April 5, 2016, JYP Entertainment published a first teaser photo together with the release date of the new album, April 25, 2016. The name of the album and the single were subsequently mentioned. In addition, more teaser photos and videos, as well as the title list, were published. On April 12th it was announced that the CD version would contain the additional title I'm Gonna Be a Star . There should also be 30,000 copies of the CD with a special cover designed by Chaeyoung.
On April 15, it was announced that the entire pre-order quantity of 30,000 copies had already been sold out.
Page Two and Cheer up were finally released on April 25th.
Park Jin-young didn't just produce the album. He also wrote the song Precious Love with Chaeyoung. Precious Love is a remake of the song of the same name by Korean singer Park Ji-yoon.
The bonus track I'm Gonna Be a Star contained on the CD version is the title track of the TV casting show “Sixteen” in Twice 2015.

Chart successes
Page Two debuted at number 2 on the South Korean Gaon Album Charts. In the Gaon annual charts 2016, the album reached number 13 with 179,452 units sold. Page Two was also represented in the 2017 annual charts (69th place, 49,748 units sold). Internationally, the album reached number 1 in Taiwan. Chart positions were also noted in Japan and the USA (Billboard World Albums).
