Fegen is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Hallands Lan in the municipality of Falkenberg .
location
The place Fegen is located in the northeast part of the municipality Falkenberg, directly on the lake Fegen . The place Ätran is about five kilometers away, Skeppshult about 20 kilometers. The trunk road (Swedish. Länsväg) 153, which connects Varberg with Värnamo , crosses the place, other roads lead from Fegen to Kalv , Kinnared , Drängsered and to Krogsered .
economy
There is a sawmill in the village , a company that specializes in the conversion and repair of trucks for timber transport, a restaurant, a hostel and a kiosk with canoe rental. Between 1887 and 1961, the Fegen – Ätran railway and the Kinnared – Fegen railway connected Fegen with the two neighboring communities. Due to the good infrastructure through the rail connections, there were at times four sawmills in the village.
Attractions
- The wooden sculpture "Mor Johannas Mässingkruka" from 1956 is right on the sweep
- Lake Fegen offers opportunities for boating and fishing.
- In the village is the Fegen Inspiration Area , the information center for visitors to the Fegensee area.
- The Fegen nature reserve , which includes parts of the lake and some land around it, has a size of 9.7 square kilometers, was established in 1980 and converted into a nature reserve in 2012.

- The Fegen Festival takes place in May.
- In September there is a music festival in Fegen.
