Feiz Shamsin (born July 12, 1992 in Hamburg ) is a Lebanese football player who is used as a striker . He also has German citizenship.
life and career
Feiz Shamsin's family fled Lebanon to Germany at the age of eight. He grew up in Hamburg , in the northern district of Schnelsen . In March 2010, at the age of seventeen, he also received German citizenship. Shamsin speaks both German and Arabic .
Club career
Shamsin first played in the youth team of the Bundesliga club Hamburger SV . In the 2008/09 season he came to 20 missions for the B-youth of HSV in the U-17 Bundesliga and scored two goals. In the following season he played for the A-Jugend of HSV in the U-19 Bundesliga , and came to four short appearances in the 2009/10 season .
For the 2010/11 season he moved to the A-youth of the city rivals FC St. Pauli in the U-19 Regional League North . At the end of the season, the A-Jugend made it to the U-19 Bundesliga. Due to good performance, Shamsin was also appointed to the squad of the second team that played in the Hamburg Oberliga . On April 20, 2011, the 18th matchday of the 2010/11 Oberliga season , he played his first senior game when he came on as a substitute for Fousseni Alassani at half-time in the home game against Eintracht Norderstedt (3: 1) and the third Goal prepared by Pierre Becken . Overall, he came to three missions in the 2010/11 season and the team made it to the regional league .
For the 2011/12 season Shamsin moved to the second team of Bundesliga club Hannover 96 in the Regionalliga . In the 2011/12 season, however , he only made six appearances and could not prevail, which is why he left Hannover 96 II again after one year in summer 2012.
After initially being out of a club for a month, he signed a contract with Lebanese first division club al Egtmaaey Tripoli in early September 2012 . There he made his debut in professional football on September 29, 2012, on the 1st match day of the 2012/13 season , when he was in the starting line-up in the away game against Al Ahed (1: 2). He also scored his first goal in the 57th minute. During the entire 2012/13 season, he scored eleven goals in 20 games as the club's best scorer, making him fourth-best goalscorer in the league.
In early September 2013 Shamsin moved to the Romanian first division side Pandurii Târgu Jiu . After two years, his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2015. He was without a club for a few months before returning to al Egtmaaey Tripoli in Lebanon in autumn 2015 . In summer 2016, he moved to local rivals Tripoli SC . He scored seven goals in 21 missions.
On January 26, 2018, he then moved to the Omani association Saham Club . But in October 2018 he moved to Chennai City FC in the I-League for four months .
National team career
In October 2012 Shamsin was nominated for the first time by the German coach Theo Bücker for the Lebanese national football team . On October 16, 2012, he made his first appearance for the national team in the friendly against Yemen (2-1) when he came on at half-time and scored the 2-1 winner in the 62nd minute.
