Felix Schneider (born January 18, 1978 in Füssen ) is a German ice hockey player (striker) who was under contract with the Erding Gladiators in the Bayern League in the past season .
Career
Schneider began his career in the 1997/98 season in the 2nd League South at EV Füssen , where he was under contract until the 1998/99 season .
For the 1999/00 season Schneider moved to TSV Erding in the Oberliga , where he qualified for the 2nd Bundesliga in 2000/01 . TSV Erding only stayed there for one season, so Schneider was again active in the league in the 2001/02 season .
After his time in Erding he returned to the 2nd Bundesliga and signed a contract for the 2002/03 season with Eisbären Regensburg , where he spent four very successful years.
At the beginning of the 2006/07 season , Schneider then moved to league competitor EHC Munich , for whom he also appeared in the 2007/08 season with the shirt number 25.
After playing in the 2nd Bundesliga for a few years, Schneider returned to the Erding Gladiators for the 2008/09 season .
In addition to his athletic career , Schneider studied medicine , and received his doctorate in 2008 from Heidelberg University .
