Florian Matthias Eckelmann (born March 30, 1986 in Bremen ) is a German entrepreneur , qualified lawyer and marketing expert . He is partner and head of design at the performance marketing agency MUYDOZO.

Career

He is the son of a now retired day care center manager and a lawyer and notary a. D.

In 2005 he made his Abitur at the Gymnasium an der Hamburger Straße in Bremen. His advanced courses were English and Art . Eckelmann did his community service in a retirement home from 2005 to 2006 . In 2007 he began his law studies at the Georg-August University in Göttingen , which he continued at the University of Hamburg in 2009 and graduated with the 1st state examination in 2012  .

Career

In 2011 Florian Eckelmann founded the party event Neonsplash with Siamak Ghofrani, Matthew Mockridge and David Zimek . In 2015 the founders sold the event series and the concept behind it to the Belgian organizer ST Live. In the four years, more than 1 million tickets were sold for over 250 events in 16 countries.

Starting in 2014, Eckelmann organized the obstacle running event Zombie Run with Siamak Ghofrani, Matthew Mockridge and David Zimek , in which the runners were “chased” by participants styled as zombies on five kilometers of obstacles .

Together they founded the major event City Slide in 2014, financed by the tour operator Schauinsland-Reisen . At the event, participants slide through European metropolises on a water slide up to 500 meters long .

From 2011 to 2017 Eckelmann worked closely with the entrepreneur, author and speaker Matthew Mockridge . Eckelmann was responsible for the marketing and graphic design of the books "You do (no) business with friends", "66 Day Journal" and "Your next big thing" and the podcast "Smart Entrepreneur Radio", which was the largest podcast in Germany in 2018 .

In 2016 he and his business partner Siamak Ghofrani founded the recommendation marketing software “Ticketrunner” (today: “Hypd”), where fans can recommend products or events in order to earn exclusive rewards. The German entrepreneur Fabian Thylmann also invested in the project . The Bundesliga soccer team Schalke 04 , the Bootshaus in Cologne and the Amsterdam Music Festival take part in the program. The software was sold to a South American partner in 2020.

Eckelmann is u. a. responsible for the corporate identity of comedian and presenter Luke Mockridge .

Eckelmann has been Partner and Head of Design at the performance marketing agency MUYDOZO in Cologne since 2019 .
