Florian Moitzi
Florian Moitzi (born September 11, 1979 in Linz ) is an Austrian composer and textbook author.
Life
Florian Moitzi grew up in Scharnstein ( Upper Austria ) and received his musical training in the subjects of recorder , clarinet and piano . Moitzi studied primary school teaching at the Pedagogical University of the Diocese of Linz . In addition to his work as elementary and special school teacher, he studied jazz saxophone at the Anton Bruckner Private University with Harry Sokal , Gerald Preinfalk and Florian Bramböck . As a saxophonist he performed with Alfons Haider , Bill Ramsey , Ray Anderson , Joseph Bowie , Heinz von Hermann and Eric Papilaya .
He gained his first experience in composing at various workshops with Otto M. Schwarz , Ed de Boer, Thomas Doss , Klemens Vereno and Christoph Cech .
Florian Moitzi has been Professor of Music and Mathematics Didactics at the Upper Austria University of Education since 2010 .
He is co-author of the textbook number travel for the elementary school .

Florian Moitzi mainly composes for a symphonic wind orchestra . These are published by OrchestralArt Music Publications. His children's songs have been published by Veritas , epubli and Helbling .
