The airport Atuona or airport Hiva Oa (IATA: AUQ , ICAO: NTMN ) is 4.5 km northeast of Atuona on the island of Hiva Oa in French Polynesia . The IATA code HIX was assigned to the airport until 2012, although this was changed in 2012.
